p.2 The Steam Boat Great Britain unfortunately broke her shaft last Wednesday, on her route to Oswego, during a heavy gale of wind. She proceeded to Prescott for repairs, but her detention will be regretted by the public.

Royal Assent - to an Act granting £100 to repair the dwelling house of the Light House Keeper at Gibraltar Point; an Act to grant a sum of money for the support of Light houses.
