p.2 Welland Canal - The report of the Committee on the Welland Canal, was brought up this evening by Mr. Robinson and read. It recommends that the work be purchased by Government and carried on under its sole control. (Provincial Parliament, House of Assembly)

Resolutions of Committee on Navigation of the Trent - that the lower section be improved.

p.3 The Steam Boat Canada ran on the bar at Oswego last week, and it is not expected that she will be got off this fall.
