GOVERNMENT CONTRACT.

STEAM BOAT TRANSPORT ON LAKE ONTARIO.

Notice is hereby given, that Sealed Tenders will be received at this Office, until Tuesday, at noon, the 26th of March, for the transport of Troops, Baggage, and Government Stores, from and to the various Ports on Lake Ontario, during the season of navigation in the year 1839.

Also, for the Hire of Steam Vessels when wanted exclusively for the Government service.

Forms of Tender and every information may be obtained on application at the Commissariat office, Kingston.

Payment will be made by check on a Chartered Bank.

Commissariat, Kingston, 2nd March, 1839.
