p.3 Forwarding - We understand that the subscription lists of the new Forwarding Company are placed in the hands of J.H. Greer, Esq., for the purpose of receiving subscriptions. There is a general conviction that measures must be adopted to reduce the excessive costs of forwarding; and as this can be done only by competition, every merchant in Upper Canada will see that his interest leads him to support the new Company, by having its stock taken up, and its operations commenced as early as possible.
