p.1 House of Assembly - committee of whole discussing report upon the navigation of the St. Lawrence. (1 1/2 columns)

p.2 Schedule of Bills Passed during 5th Session, Provincial Parliament:

-An Act to extend the limits of Port Darlington Harbour.

-An Act to incorporate certain persons, under the name and style of the President, Directors and Company, of the Bronte Harbour.

-An Act to increase the capital stock of the Port Hope Harbour Company, and to extend the period for completing the said harbour.

-An Act to extend the time for repaying the loan to the Oakville Harbour.

p.3 a list of Public Works and their projected costs - eg. for finishing the Saint Lawrence Canal - £50,000.

The Oswego Herald of the 10th inst. says: "The ice in the river and harbour has entirely disappeared, and the navigation is now clear." It is not ( ) that the navigation is open so early, but it ( ) close again this season yet.
