136x23x14 Owned by J. Malcolmson, Hamilton 1877 (operated in name of Montreal & Acadia Steamship Line sometimes); J. H. G. Hagarty 1877; J. C. Hume, Whitby Ont. 1886; Calvin Company, Garden Island 1888, 1898; Deseronto Navigation Co. 1906; A. Lomer, Montreal 1907. Built by Simpson & Chisholm, Chatham and launched 07/05/73. First engine 34x36 by T. Willson, Dundas Ont., later 17-34x14 by T. Willson. Rebuilt to steam barge and lengthened to 172x25x12 by Muir Brothers, Port Dalhousie 1883. Used Montreal to Upper Lakes, also voyages to Gulf ports in early years. Rebuilt for coal fuel, new steel arches installed, timber ports in bow 1883. Re-registered as "recovered wreck" 1887, details unknown.
