The hull of that floating palace, the steam boat, Great Britain has been purchased by the Messrs. Ives, from the Hon. John Hamilton, for the purpose of fitting it up as a timber vessel, for which it is especially adopted by its great size. Her timbers are quite sound, having been filled in with salt when building.
