168x25x7 Owned by L. Moody, Prescott Ont. 1847; to H. A. Chillas & G. David, Nicolet Que. 1854. Built by J. Oades at Port Metcalfe, Wolfe Island Ont. 1845. Engine from U.S. steamer "Oneida". "New cylinders" 1847. Built with American capital to evade navigation laws re St. Lawrence canals. Used Montreal to Kingston and/or Ogdensburg as "American Line". Ran Montreal-Quebec for two months 1855. Two blockade voyages Gulf of Mexico 1862; to U. S. Register 1863.
