p.3 There has been a great reduction in the naval establishment at this port, and a number of officers and seamen were sent off last Saturday. Their departure was so sudden that one of the men who has a sum of money in the Savings Bank could not come to draw it out. Capt. Sandom will shortly leave for England, and the Establishment be reduced to a Lieutenant and complement of men, Mr. Marks having charge of the stores.
