224x28x13 Owned by Benner, Browne & Best, Hamilton; to Richelieu Company 1861, 1865. Built by E. Harrison & Co., Hamilton and launched 27/07/54. Engine 60x132 by J. Gartshore, Dundas, Ont. (from "Queen of the West", to "Canada"). Usually used in Lake Ontario passenger service except Montreal-Quebec 1862-65. Grounded in fog 25/06/55 Snake Island near Kingston; refloated and had arches fitted that winter at Hamilton.
