87x17x9 Owned by T. Gauthier (Quebec Steam Whaling Co.) 1909; to Dominion Government 1910, 1921; J. S. McQueen, Amherstburg Ont. 1927; Kent Shippers Ltd. 1935. Built by Akers Mekanske Vaerksted, Oslo Norway 1895. Engine 10-15-24x18 by builders. Whaling Co. bankrupt in one year, became "Lightship No. 18" or "Southeast Shoal". Ran as "No. 18" in commercial service afterwards for a few years.
