177x27x11 (width over paddle boxes 44') Owned by Canadian Inland Navigation Co. Built by A. Cantin, Montreal and launched 28/10/63. (Fabricated on Clyde) Engines 45x120 by Eagle Foundry (Brush), Montreal, to "Corsican". Stranded 07/05/67 Lachine Rapids. Stranded 16//07/68 Cascades Rapids. Stranded 30/10/68 Galops Rapids. Wrecked when steering gear failed 18/05/69 Split Rock (Cascades) Rapids, 1 killed. Attempts to refloat abandoned mid-September when wreck "lurched over".
