p.3 The Corporation have agreed with Mr. Sidney Scobell to erect a Light House on the Marine Railway Wharf. It seems odd to us that the Town should put up a building on private property. Besides, we have been informed that the best site for a light house for this harbour is the shoal which lies off the Marine Railway. To build one there would cost more, but it would be on and improve public property. [Herald]
