EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OFFICE.

Montreal, 20th August, 1846.

Notice is hereby given, by order of His Excellency the Governor General in Council, that sealed proposals to lease the Ferry from Wolfe Island to Cape Vincent; for the term of seven years, to be endorsed, "Tender for Ferry," will be received at this Office until the first Monday in October next. The Lessee will be required to enter into the usual security for the due performance of the conditions. The lease to be subject to such rules and regulations for Ferriage and Attendance, as the Magistrates of the Midland District, in General Quarter Sessioins of the Peace may be pleased to adopt.
