175x32x11 Owned by Henderson & Holcomb, Montreal 1865; A. D. Mackay, Hamilton 1869, 1877. Built by D. & J. McCarthy, Sorel and launched about 23/09/63. Engine 41x120 by St. Mary's Foundry, Montreal, from "Jenny Lind". Used Montreal-Lake Ontario except ran to Halifax sometimes 1864-67. Offered for sale at New York 1865 but Civil War demand was over and vessel unsold; returned to Montreal October 1865. Salt water caused boiler trouble July 1867 returning from Halifax; vessel had to be towed Prescott-Kingston for repairs.
