p.3 Notice is hereby given that all Ship Owners or Masters of Vessels, found using the inventions patented by the undersigned and known as "Ives' connected Capstan" and "Ives' improved method of loading timber vessels", will be prosecuted as the Law directs.

Applications for the right of using the invention can be made to the undersigned or to W.A. Geddes, Esq., Solicitor for the Patentee.
