p.3 The Steamer Magnet - We regret to learn that the steamer Magnet met with a casualty a short distance from the Beauharnois Canal, having struck a rock with such force that it pierced the bottom of the vessel. The Magnet was returning from a trip to Montreal. Her passengers came up by the Mail steamer last evening.
