142x26x9 (width over paddle boxes 53') Owned by J. & W. Torrance 1831; to St. Lawrence Towboat Co. 1832. Built by Shea & Merritt, Montreal and launched 14/05/31. Engines (2) by Fawcett Preston & Co., Liverpool England. Built as Laprairie ferry but used there only one year. "Cabin and steerage added" 1832, used Montreal-Quebec except Quebec-Chambly part of 1833.
