p.2 New Steamer - The new steamer Ontario, belonging to the American mail line, will arrive here today on her first downward trip. The Ontario is said to be of very large dimensions and finished in the most modern style. Had not the line been broken by the disastrous wreck of the Niagara, the Rochester could now have been withdrawn for the route between Hamilton and Lewiston; as it is she must remain until the Niagara is prepared to resume her old place.
