Seen here on Dec 26th as she entered the head of the Detroit River and approached the William Livingstone Memorial Light on Belle Isle.
The additional detail images show her progression around the Belle Isle turn in the Fleming Channel.
Algoma Central Corp. recently announced that this 1962-built vessel, the last steam-powered laker flying the Canadian flag, will be retired at the end of the current season (2014).
For her final run, the Algoma Montrealais was loaded with grain at Thunder Bay and bound for Baie Comeau, Que.
