p.2 Travelling by the St. Lawrence - describes trip on steamer Gildersleeve. [Mont. Transcript]

Steamer Raised - The Freight steamer Princess Victoria, which ran on a shoal about 9 miles from this Town, was yesterday got off under the direction of the Messrs. Ives of Kingston, and towed into port by their steamer, the Sylph. We understand she leaves today for Quebec. Her cargo was taken out partially damaged. [Brockville Recorder]
