The Annual Meeting of the Stockholders of the Kingston Marine Railway Company, will be held at the Office of the undersigned, on Monday the 2nd day of April next, at 1 o'clock, P.M.

Kingston, Feb. 28th, 1849.

Sailors' Rights - The mariners and others employed in navigating the lakes and inland waters of the Province, are about to petition the Legislature to extend to this Province the Maritime Laws of the Empire, so as to ensure them their rights, in the same way as these are secured to the mariners of England, and of other countries, in claiming their wages for services against the vessels on which they are serving, etc. The petition lies for signature at Mr. Maitland's office, Commercial Wharf.
