p.71 We have the best authority for stating, that Sir James Kempt, who lately inspected the whole route of the Rideau Canal, fully approves of Col. By's plans of operation, and, that the contractors have received orders to proceed with the work on an extensive scale. It is to be made for a steam-boat navigation.
