p.262 The Schooner Telegraph, which, in company with the George Canning and Welland Canal, sailed from this Port about a week ago, returned this morning, having been on the lake during the late severe gales. We are informed that she lost her deck cargo. [U.C. Herald]

Burlington Bay Canal - part of award of Arbitrators has been paid to Mr. Strowbridge, the contractor. [Niagara Herald]
