p.318 New Schooner - Another fine vessel is now on the stocks, at the lower end of our village, intended for the lake and canal navigation, and to be ready for sailing early the ensuing spring. It is erecting on the same spot where the schooner Welland Canal was constructed last year, and by the same master builder, Capt. Armington, for Mr. Job Loder, of Ancaster. [Farmer's Journal]
