p.1 A New Steam Boat - to be built at Prescott, on an improved plan, to ply between Prescott and Montreal; a meeting held; boat to have twin cylinders 176 feet long, etc.

p.3 Welland Canal - The majority of the Assembly are about to transfer to the country the whole stock sunk on that work amounting to £175,000; in addition to that sum, it will require £200,000 more to complete it.
