p.2 We feel much pleasure in announcing to the Public, that the new steam boat building at this place, intended to run between Prescott and Montreal, is in a forward state. Notwithstanding Mr. Bush's report, 10 per cent on £3000 has been collected. We have seen a gentleman who witnessed the first trial of Mr. Burden's boat, but who gave entirely a different statement to that of Mr. Bush, and is fully confident that the Prescott boat will succeed. [Grenville Gazette]

Report of Committee of the House of Assembly on Improving Navigation of the River Trent.
