p.2 Notice is hereby given that an application will be made (by inhabitants of Upper Canada) to the next Session of the Provincial Parliament, for an Act to authorize the Commissioners for improving the Navigation of the St. Lawrence to take sufficient land along the bank of the said River, from Cornwall to Prescott, for the purpose of a Tow-path, for the towing of Boats and improving the Navigation.

Brockville, June 19th, 1834.

Application by inhabitants of Bytown to incorporate a joint stock company to improve the navigation of the River Ottawa from Bytown.
