From the Detroit Gazette, Aug. 18

Last Monday morning the steam boat left this place for Mackinaw. The court martial, which had been in session from the 1st to the 13th inst. adjourned on the morning of the latter day to meet again on Tuesday next. This adjournment enabled Gen. Scott and Cols. Eustis and House to visit Mackinaw. Several gentlemen from different parts of the union were passengers.
