p.2 The Steamer Traveller - We take great delight in being able to inform the public, that this beautiful and fast-sailing Schooner-rigged Steamer will, on next Monday, commence to ply between this Port and Toronto, thereby affording that facility to travellers which from a tedious winter was much looked for. We really wish her spirited and enterprising owner every success which his exertions deserve, in as far as he is ever foremost in advancing the cause of inland navigation in our Province. Provincial Parliament - committee on canals and internal improvements presents report on internal navigation of the waters of the Newcastle District.


NOTICE - THE ANNUAL MEETING of the Stockholders of the OTTAWA AND RIDEAU FORWARDING COMPANY will take place in Montreal on Monday, 28th March, inst. at 11 o'clock A.M.

A Meeting of the Stockholders of the Steam Boat Kingston will be held at the Commercial Hotel, on Wednesday, the 23rd inst. at 12 o'clock.
