A large crowd attended, including many out-of-town members. Our thanks to Roger Chapman for his services as projectionist. If you receive this issue, you needn't worry; you are paid up for the 1 9 8 8 1989 T. M. H. S. season. Those who have not renewed, however, will be missing their "Scanner", so if any of your friends remark that "Scanner" has not ar rived, you might put a bug in their ears about their overdue renewals. We are very pleased with the number of renewals that have been received so far and thank members for their early remittance. In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Philip Clayton of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and to James N. Mclver of Arctic Bay, North West Territories. We really do have members all over North America'. And a big welcome back to all who have renewed for the new year, including several who have been away from the Society for several years, but who missed re ceiving "Scanner" and now are back in the fold. * * * * * * * AFFILIATED WITH THE MARINE MUSEUM OF UPPER CANADA ISSN 0318-014X *
