Our new season, the twenty-second for T.M. H. S., begins in October, and we sin cerely hope that all of our loyal members will renew for the coming year. Primarily as a result of postage and printing cost increases, it has been necessary to increase fees to $18.00 per annum. Your early remittance will be appreciated so that we may avoid the cost of mailing outindividual bil lings. Some of our members already have sent their renewals. Won't y o u join them, please? Kindly forward payment to our Chief Purser, William R. Wilson, 173 Glenrose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1K7. Thank you. We thank the members for being so patient in awaiting the Mid-Summer issue while Ye Ed. enjoyed a much-appreciated vacation from the typewriter. We have, however, accumulated a great amount of marine news, etc., during the summer, and we apologize if items appear unduly abbreviated to save space, or if we have missed any items completely. We'll catch up in October... In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Donald Blain of St. Clair, Michigan, and to Philip Greer of Almont, Michigan. We also wish to apologize to Donald B. MacAdam of Goderich, whose name appeared incor rectly in this section of the May issue. We also welcome back all renewals.
