The film was provided by member Jim Semon, who also provided for us the projection facilities of the Presentation Room at Carlton Cards in Etobicoke. We thank Jim for his great generosity, and we wish him well in his new position, which will see him relocate to the Cleveland area. He will, however, return to Toronto from time to time and has promised us the availability of the Carlton Cards facilities should we need them again in the future. We have been pleased with the response to our annual membership renewal drive as most of our members renewed in a timely manner despite the rather large increase in membership fees which we were forced to implement. Toronto Marine Historical Society members are, as we always have believed, a loyal bunch! In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Jim Waycik of the Canadian Soo, to James Richards of Port Lambton, to Naomi Dake of Toronto, to Daniel C. Krummes of Oakland, California, to Bernice Ross of Brockville, Evans McKeil of Hamilton, and to Capt. M. Dollenbacher of Sittensen, Germany. We also welcome back those who have renewed since our last issue. * * * * * AFFILIATED WITH THE MARINE MUSEUM OF UPPER CANADA ISSN 0 3 1 8 -0 1 4X
