Please see below for details. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S NOTEBOOK Our February meeting was a great success. Not only was there no competi tion for parking at Exhibition Place, but the Second Annual Fun Quiz, hosted by Bob Woodcock and Gerry Ouderkirk, was very well received by all those present. The winning team was the "Can't C's", made up of Ted Greschuk, John Leonard, Jonathan Boonzaier and Bob Bush. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to the quizmasters for some challenging questions. The Annual Dinner Meeting will be held Saturday, May 20th, aboard JADRAN, which is moored on the east side of the Yonge Street slip on the Toronto waterfront. Parking isavailable in two lots just east of the ship. The bar will open at 6: 00 p. m. and dinner will be served at 7: 00 p. m. Our speaker will be Lorne Joyce and his programme will be "The Main Ducks". This will be a look at yesterday's life on the isolated mid-lake islands at the eastern end of Lake Ontario, from shipwrecks to lighthouse build ing and from harbours to fisheries. Members and guests alike should enjoy this presentation. We have managed to hold - the line on costs, so tickets will again cost just $29. 00 and guests will, as usual, be welcome.
