p.2 St. Ann's Locks - A letter from a gentleman at St. Ann's Rapids, informs us, that "the Works at this place will be available in a fortnight at farthest, and that their workmanship is as excellent as any in the Province." We are pleased to hear this, because an impression has gone abroad that in consequence of bad judgement, the whole works, both dam and lock would prove a failure. [K. Whig]
