This will be the last formal meet i n g of the Society until autumn. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S N O T EBOOK Our March Meeting featured our photographer extraordinaire, Roger Chapman, who presented a selection of slides made from photographs taken by the late Capt. William J. Taylor. Many of our members had never seen examples of T a y lor photography, and much lively audience participation ensued. We extend sincere thanks to Roger for preparing and presenting this excellent programme. THE ANN U A L DINNER M E E T I N G will be held on Saturday, May 8th, aboard the JADRAN, which is moored on the east side of the Yonge Street slip on the Toronto waterfront. (Parking is available in two lots alongside the s h i p . ) The bar will open at 6 : 00 p. m., with dinner served at 7 : 00 p. m. The speaker will be Russ Brown, a friend of many T. M . H . S. members, general manager of the Muskoka Lakes N avigation and Hotel Company Ltd., and the driving force behind the day- t o - d a y operations of the restored steamer SEGWUN. Russ will speak about his experiences in operating this unique steamboat, aboard which most of us have sailed the Muskoka Lakes. Tickets for the dinner will be $29. 00 per person (including all taxes and gratuities) and guests will, as usual, be welcome. Please send your early remittance to the T. M . H . S. When remitting, it is important that you specify whether you would prefer a fish or chicken dinner, as either will be available. Tickets will be held at the door for all who have reserved.
