We had planned an interesting mem bers' slide show, and were trying a Saturday afternoon meeting for the first time in an effort to accommodate those for whom Friday nights are not convenient. And lots of members and friends were waiting at the door. But nobody from Heritage Toronto turned up to welcome us into the Museum. We most sincerely regret the inconvenience that was caused to so many of our members, and would direct your attention to further words on this subject which may be found inside this issue. We very much appreciate the efforts of all of the members who contributed to our winter lay-up listings. The first instalment of this annual report appears in this issue, and there will be more in the March issue. In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to John Jacobi, of Toronto. We are very pleased to have you with us in the Toronto Marine Historical Society. * * * * * * * AFFILIATED WITH THE MARINE MUSEUM OF UPPER CANADA ISSN 0318-014X Executive C o m m ittee Jay N.
