Please refer to details below, and join us for an enjoyable evening. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S LOGBOOK Our February Meeting featured Ron Beaupre with another instalment of the slides of the late Jim Kidd. We were treated to some excellent views of long-departed ships taken by our founding treasurer as he travelled the lakes in the late 1960s, with Ron providing excellent narration. We look forward to another instalment at a future meeting, and extend our sincere thanks to Ron for his efforts in preparing this programme for us. Our April Meeting will be a field trip to Port Weller Dry Docks for a tour of the shipyard. Plan to be at the shipyard gates by 10: 30 a. m. on Saturday, April 1st, so that the tour may begin on time. Parking is available at the yard gates, or above Lock One on the west side of the canal. Please arrange your own carpools as appropriate. We must have an accurate count by March 29th of those planning to attend so that the yard will have enough safety equipment available for us. By that date, please advise programme chairman David Bull if you plan to attend.
