We look forward to a further selection of Soo River slides and David's reminiscences in the future. We would remind the members that April 15th is the deadline for the sub­ mission of bids in our current Silent Auction. Quite a number of bids have been received already, so won't you please sharpen up your pencil and join the crowd? Remember that the Society depends heavily on the auction for its continued survival. The Annual Dinner Meeting will be held Saturday, May 13, aboard JADRAN, moored on the east side of Toronto's Yonge Street slip. Parking is availa­ ble in two lots just east of the ship, and there is easy access via T. T. C. (Bay Bus or Harbourfront-Spadina streetcar south from Union Station to Queen's Quay). The cash bar will open at 5: 00 p. m. and the four course dinner will be served at 6: 00 (one hour earlier than in previous years). Speaker for the evening will be Dr. Gordon C. Shaw, longtime T. M. H. S. mem­ ber, whose subject will be "The Muskoka Lakes Navigation and Hotel Company from the 19th Century Onward to the 21st".
