THE EDITOR'S LOGBOOK The February meeting featured Unidentified Floating Objects - photographic and otherwise, and we saw some very interesting things. Our thanks to all who participated. With this issue, we enclose details of our next Silent Auction. Please note carefully the bidding information and be generous in your bids. There are some spectacular items in this auction and we sincerely thank the donors. The annual auction is essential to the finan cial health of this Society, so we urge all of you to participate. The Annual Dinner Meeting will be held Saturday, May 13, aboard JADRAN, moored on the east side of Toronto's Yonge Street slip. Parking is available in two lots just east of the ship, and there is easy access via T. T. C. (Bay Bus or Harbourfront-Spadina/Exhibition streetcar south from Union Station to Queen's Quay). The cash bar will open at 5: 00 p. m. and the four course dinner will be served at 6: 00. Speaker for the evening will be Scott Cameron, who recently produced an excellent book on the Canadian upper lakes sidewheel passenger steamer FRANCES SMITH. It should be an excel lent programme so please plan to attend. The ticket price will be $38. 00 per person (same as last year) and the main course will be either strip steak or grilled salmon. We'll also enjoy soup, salad and dessert. Please send your early remittance to our Chief Purser and, when paying, specify whether you would prefer steak or fish as entree.
