p.3 Unprecedented Despatch - We have the pleasure of recording the remarkably quick passage of the Steamer Rob Roy, Capt. Dickenson, belonging to the People's Line, from Lachine to Kingston via Bytown and the Rideau Canal, in 48 1/2 hours. This is the quickest passage made on this route.

Works on Canal, between Cornwall and Prescott, proceeding; no strife among laborers. [Cornwall Observer]
