p.3 Public Works in Kingston - ....The Engineer Department has given official notice to the Corporation, that immediate possession is wanted of the plot of ground in front of the Market Buildings, now occupied by the Forwarding House of Macpherson & Crane. Notice was given last Monday.


The Undersigned beg to give notice, that after the 8th instant, (as well as with regard to the usual reservations respecting Fire, the dangers of the Navigation, etc.) any Goods received and Forwarded by them, arrested by Frost, or the setting in of Winter, will be at the risk and responsibility of the Owners or Shippers, wherever the stoppage takes place; and subject, in addition to Freight incurred, to be removed at their expense.
