p.3 Launch - The steamer Scotland was launched on Wednesday last, from the Marine Railway ship yard, in the presence of a large number of spectators. This vessel has been carefully built of the best materials, is of great strength, and is admirably adapted for the freighting business, for which she was designed. [News]

Oliver's Ferry 11 1/2

Smith's Falls every Wednesday at 3 1/2 A.M.

Merrickville 7 1/2

Burritt's 10

Beckett's Landing 11 1/2

Long Island 3 1/2 P.M.

And arrive in Bytown 7 1/2 P.M.


Will leave

Bytown every Friday at 9 A.M.

Long Island 1 P.M.

Beckett's Landing 5

Burritt's 6 1/2

Merrickville 9

Smith's Falls every Saturday at 1 A.M.

Oliver's Ferry 5

Isthmus 9

Jones' Falls 1 P.M.

And arrive in

Kingston every Saturday at 8 1/2

The above boat runs in connection with regular daily steamers between Bytown and Grenville and Montreal, and affords to Western travellers the best route to the Caledonia Springs.
