FORWARDING

1849

THE QUEBEC FORWARDING COMPANY.

Will, by the opening of the Navigation, be fully prepared with an efficient stock of Steamers and Barges, to carry upward and downward Freight and Passengers, from and to Quebec, Montreal, Bytown and Kingston, with care and despatch, and they beg to solicit a continuance of public support, under the assurance that every possible effort will be made to give their friends general satisfaction.

Quebec, 1st March, 1849.

GENERAL SHIPPING AGENCY.

D. McINTOSH

Respectfully intimates, that while conducting the Kingston Branch of the Quebec Forwarding Company's Business, he, as a General Agent, will be ready to receive, Store and Ship Property of every description, consigned to his care.

The advantages thus held out to the mercantile community, in reduction of rates of freight by a more active shipping competition and consequent expedition in transport, will at once appear; it being intended that the first and cheapest means of conveyance presenting themselves to him will be preferred.

D. McI. trusts that his acquantance with the Forwarding Business, and a desire to carry out the object he has in view, by attention to the interests of such as may be pleased to patronize him, will procure for him public confidence and support.

Kingston, 1st March, 1849.
