Schr. Crispin, Chicago, 6904 bush. wheat, Hooker & Henderson.

Schr. Salina, Oswego, gen. cargo.

Str. Caledonia, Montreal, gen. cargo.

Str. Prince of Wales, Belleville, 51 bbls. flour and gen. cargo, E. Browne & Co.

Brig Liverpool, Port Dalhousie, 205 pieces timber, Calvin, Cook & Co.

TO FORWARDERS.

The Undersigned having established a Line of STEAM TUG BOATS, to ply between

Lachine and Prescott and vice versa, for the purpose of Towing Vessels and Barges, navigating the St. Lawrence River and Canals, their Steamboats will leave Lachine upwards, three times a week, viz.:- Leave Lachine,

UPWARDS,

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 6 o'clock A.M.

Leave Dickenson's Landing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 3 o'clock A.M.

DOWNWARDS,

Will leave Prescott for Lachine, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The above line will be continued between Prescott and Kingston.

GOVERNMENT TARIFF FOR TOWING.

For Vessels of 100 Tons and under, 1s. per mile Downwards, and 2s. per mile Upwards.

For Vessels of 200 to 300 Tons and over, to the capacity of the largest Vessel that can pass through the Welland Canal, 2s. per mile Downwards, and 4s. per mile Upwards

In addition to the above the Undersigned subjoin the following modified Tariff for the Towage of

LIGHT BARGES:

Upwards.

Light Barges, 100 Tons and under, 1s. 3d. per mile.

" " 200 " " 1s. 6d. "

Downwards.

" " 50 to 100 Tons, 9d. per mile.

" " 100 to 200 Tons 1s. "

Where Barges are Towed only from Dickenson's Landing to Prescott, not having been towed below or above, 50 to 100 Tons 2s. 6d. per mile; 100 to 200 Tons, 4s. per mile.
