p.2 Opposition on the River - Yesterday morning the steamer Fashion came up from Montreal with a fair load of passengers to Kingston, and turned back immediately, with another load of passengers greater than she brought up. These passengers are expected to arrive in Montreal in twelve hours, which is a vast improvement in steamboat navigation.

THE FASHION

Is the way to save your money and travel expeditiously.

This fine vessel will land you safely in MONTREAL - from Kingston - on the evenings of Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The departure is from the Lake Ontario Royal Mail Wharf (Glassfords,) at 6 o'clock precisely, on the mornings of the above named days. Don't be late or you will lose your passage, and your money too; as you will have to pay the Monopolist Line almost double the Fashion's rate.

Cabin Passage to Montreal, and found $3.00

Deck Passage $1.00
