Sailing Matches

1st Class - Boats of 20 tons, and under,

2nd Class - Boats of 12 tons, and under,

3rd Class - Boats of 6 tons, and under,

4th Class - Boats not over 18 feet keel.

Rowing Matches.

1st Class - The championship of the Bay, - for racing skiffs pulling one pair of sculls,

2nd Class - Common skiffs, - pulling 1 pair of sculls,

3rd Class - Four oared boats.

Full particulars of the prizes to be contended for and the rules to be observed, will be published immediately.

Auction - on 18th Sept., The YACHT PETREL, of about 6 Tons, well rigged and in good sailing order.

NEW ARRANGEMENT.

THE STEAMER FARMER,

Capt. Chambers,

Will ply during the remainder of the season as follows, viz.: Will leave Picton every morning at 7 o'clock, A.M., and Kingston every afternoon, at 4 o'clock precisely, (instead of five o'clock as formerly), calling at all the intermediate places up and down.

For Freight or Passage, apply to the Captain on board, or at Mr. McLennan's Office on the Wharf.
