p.2 Appointment of Capt. Drew - as Naval Storekeeper at Cape of Good Hope - he cut out the Caroline and sent her over the falls in 1837.

Buffalo, Jan. 22nd - The steamer Hendrik Hudson sailed last evening for Detroit. There is no ice in the lake to obstruct her passage.
