p.2 First Authentic Changes - Mr. William Bowen, late Captain Bowen, of the Passport, has taken, for the ensuing season, Counter's Wharf, last year in the occupation of Mr. Hugh McLennan. In addition to the ordinary duties of wharfinger, Mr. Wm. Bowen will act as special Agent for the new steamer St. Lawrence, of which Mr. Thomas Howard, also late of the Passport, will take the command. Mr. Hugh McLennan takes charge of a large agency in Montreal.
