Barge Cantin, Montreal, 10 (sic) bars railroad iron, Macpherson & Crane.

Exports

Nov. 1st - Str. Bay State, Ogdensburgh, passengers and baggage.

3rd - Str. Ontario, Lewiston, passengers and baggage.

Police Register - man convicted of evading toll on boat load of wood; fined 10s. and costs.

NEW STEAMER

FOR SALE.

A new Steamboat now on the Stocks in the Ship Yard of John Munn, Esq., Quebec, of the following dimensions, viz.:

Length overall 175 feet

Breadth of Beam 25 1/4 feet

Breadth over all 43 3/4 feet

Depth of Hold 10 3/4 feet

estimated to carry equal to 3500 bbls. flour, and a very light draught of water.

The Hull is built of the very best materials, and is strongly fastened throughout.

The Engine about 90 Horse Power, and the Boilers will be of the most modern and approved construction. The Boat will be fitted up to suit a purchaser, and can be completely finished and launched first open water next Spring, "ready to get up Steam."
